- Welcome to the Crown's recently refurbished dining room where you can be sure of a friendly welcome and tasty dishes using ingredients from local sources ..... game, poultry, fish, fruits and vegetables in season.
You will be served in our dining room with its honey wood tables, sparkling glasses and candlelight glow.
To accompany your meal, we have a fine array of wines, Real Ales and Scottish Malt whiskies.
There are always choices for non-meat eaters and for those with special dietary requirements, just give us a ring beforehand.We also serve food in our comfortable bar.
Note .... The Bistro takes its name from the metal 'hames' which are part of the leather collar worn by working farm horses in olden times. Hames were found in 'The Crown' during its recent refurbishment and can be seen mounted on the wall in the dining room.Our aim is to make your lunch or dinner something special ,whether you are a hotel resident, having a meal out with friends or family or just popping in for a quick bite.
